Young people need basic religious education in their families and parishes. This deepens their faith from interest in the Person of Jesus Christ, and his teachings, to relating with him personally today. The Diocese is committed to ensuring this religious education is available to young people who do not attend Catholic schools. It seeks also to prepare those students who have little or no family or parish religious experience, for the personal challenges of today’s society by deepening their faith and moral values. The task of this service is to deepen the understanding of students who are receiving effective family and parish religious education. |
