Marriage is the bedrock of a cohesive society.  The Church is committed to supporting marriage and family life.

The Diocese of Bunbury undertakes many educational and pastoral activities to promote marriage and the family.  More particularly, the Church promotes programs in marriage preparation and parenting.  It also offers programs on marriage enrichment, and marriage counselling.  These help participants to deepen their understanding of the sacred nature of marriage, the effects of separation and divorce, the best interests of children, and the nature of pre-marriage relationships.

Couples who wish to improve their relationships, and to ensure that they remain in a successful and happy marriage, are invited to attend a marriage enrichment course.  Facilitated by experienced educators in a safe and confidential environment, couples will refresh the skills they already have, and cement the love they have for one another.
