The Adult Faith Education Committee is the body responsible to the Bishop for the planning and delivery of adult faith education programs throughout the Diocese. Its membership is made up of staff from the Diocesan Pastoral Office together with members drawn from a variety of parishes across the Diocese.

Programs
Programs in adult faith education offered through the Diocesan Pastoral Team include:

• Advent and Lenten Programs
• Summer and Winter Schools on a variety of scriptural, liturgical, theological and moral topics
• Parish renewal programs
• Church Alive which is a program that trains people for parish ministries
• Training programs for Acolytes and extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist
• Training programs for parish pastoral council members
• Diaconate program
• Programs for teacher/school staffs
• Welcome Home program for ‘retired Catholics’
