The Bunbury Diocese is embarking on an estimated $17.0 million redevelopment of the Cathedral precinct, with the Cathedral being the cornerstone of this redevelopment. The Diocese has already sourced $11.6 million of the total funding requirement from insurance proceeds and Government grants. Of the remaining $5.4 million, the Diocese is contributing $2.4 million from borrowings and existing funds, demonstrating its total commitment to meeting community expectations, meeting the current and future need and the delivery of diocesan services to the community of the South West of Australia. This leaves an amount of $3 million to be raised from fundraising to meet the project target. |
