The vision for the new Cathedral is clear.  But the way forward is not without its hurdles.  To convert the vision asked for by the community into reality requires an enormous commitment of time, energy and money.  We cannot do this alone.  Although much of the money needed has already been obtained, a significant amount remains to be found.  Without community assistance, the redevelopment of the Cathedral and surrounding precinct cannot proceed.

Some 90 years ago the people of a much smaller Bunbury faced the same challenge we are facing now: how to fund the construction of the first St Patrick’s.  In an era considerably less affluent than our own they did an outstanding job.
