The Adult Faith Education Committee is the body responsible to the Bishop for the planning and delivery of adult faith education programs throughout the Diocese. Its membership is made up of staff from the Diocesan Pastoral Office together with religious and lay members drawn from a variety of parishes across the Diocese.

Programs
Programs in adult faith education offered through the Diocesan Pastoral Team include:
  • Summer and Winter Schools on a variety of scriptural, liturgical, theological and moral topics
  • Parish renewal programs
  • Training programs for pastoral leaders
  • Training programs for parish pastoral council members
  • Diaconate program
  • Westlink programs. These are televised programs on religious topics delivered to the individual parishes across the Diocese through special arrangement with Channel 31
  • Programs for teacher/school staffs
  • Welcome Home program for ‘retired Catholics’
  • Called and Gifted for Mission programs
